I love the 4th of July! I have been privileged to have so many picnics with family and friends on this great holiday and see fireworks in many parts of this great country. All pale in comparison to seeing fireworks with the Statue of Liberty as the backdrop.

Going down to the beach strand on my bike and riding along the strand watching all the different people dressed up and down rollerskating, skateboarding and walking as I stopped at different beach home get togethers until dark and watched the fireworks off the pier with all my friends.
