Happy Birthday

In honor of my birthday (yep, it's today), I thought I'd see what birthday sorts of things I could find from the team. Obviously, just about anything you can find will make an amazing birthday present depending upon the recipient, but I was looking for birthday-specific items.

What is more birthday-centric than the birthday party invite? There are several out there, although most seem to be for the kiddos. But there are a few invites for parties for those over the age of 21...

Helpful Suggestions

It's July. My birthday is at the end of the month. And because my relatives need a little help when it comes to finding me things I like, I am again hijacking the post giving them some ideas.

I love bags. I have several. I could use several more. I like interesting patterns. I especially like bags that are different. Handmade is ideal.

Now, I don't actually need a stylus for my smart phone. I just want one. I think they're cool.

And you could never go wrong getting me something chocolate. Cake. Cookies. Ice cream cake. Yeah, chocolate is good.

As for jewelry, I only wear earrings. Pretty dangle earrings are very good. Orange is my signature color, but yellow will do in a pinch. And either of these (or both!) will do nicely.

I don't have nearly enough hair jewelry. I lost one of my favorite clips last year, so I could use a replacement. I think these would look perfect in my hair.

There. That ought to do it.

A Spooky Happy Birthday to Mr. Edgar Allen Poe

Yes, in 1809 on January, Edgar Allan Poe was born.  He was one of the Victorian Era's best horror writers, although not appreciated during his time.  His work is still an inspiration today and he's associated with ravens, the macabre and all things wonderfully spooky.  You can find many wonderful Etsy items to help you celebrate the master of blood and mystery, including the ones below from the California Etsians.

Happy Birthday Aquarius!

Hi! This is gonna be the start of my new monthly series, hope you enjoy it! If you are celebrating a birthday and can relate to some of the characteristics let us know by leaving a comment! Aquarians are born January 21 thru February 19. They are symbolized by the Water Bearer. The Water Bearer is a sign of hope for the future which is perfect for Aquarians as they are interested in making the world a better place.

There are two sides to the Aquarian. They can be shy, sensitive, gentle and patient or they can be enthusiastic and lively with a tendency to be exhibitionists.
